Up for bid is an original vintage pre-owned<br>Antique Victorian Velvet Photo Album on Wood Stand w/Mirrors & Brass Ornate Decorations.<br>Found at a family estate sale. An incredibly rare find!<br>The details on the stand and the album are brass ornamentation - in the typical extravagant Victorian style.<br>Some age corrosion on some spots (see pictures).<br>There’s a little mirror on front and larger mirror on the inside of stand. The mirror on the cover is diamond shaped, with a brass ornate trim border.<br>There are 20 CDV Photographs dating from the 1880s to early 1900s.<br>Family believe that the album and some photographs came from Illinois.<br>Some photos have names visible and others may have names and dates written on the back.<br>Will leave it to the buyer’s discretion to remove them. All the pages are in beautiful condition and I did not want to damage the pages by removing photographs.<br>Very minor tears around the album photograph insert slit.<br>The Album is on a wood stand.<br>You unlock the clasp on the side and it’s hinged on the bottom so you actually fold the album downward then open.<br>When the album is pulled down it exposes another 8” by 6” mirror.<br>Some of the silver backing of the mirror is missing due to age.<br>On the back of the wood stand is a storage box mounted, but it is missing the front piece.<br>The front velvet is time worn and faded, but the back side is amazing and still colorful. All the original pages are present, none are missing from the album.<br>A previous owner name is written on the last inside album cover.<br>Overall it stands about 14 1/2” tall by 10” wide.<br>The Album itself is 11 ½” tall by 8 ½” wide<br>There is a beautiful latch on the photo album. It still works!
