    Description

A absolutely fantastic album with over 400 photographs from the life of a progressive woman from Ohio  dated 1922-1940. The 1st 100 photos are of a trip sponsored by the Sierra Club across the southwest and along the coast of California. The 40 or so Ladies  visited the Redwoods and took  a climb up Mt. Whitney . The group were in full camping gear and roughed it all the way. There are also lots of studio photos of the Mountains and along the California coast. There are shots of Women Water skiing, visiting a hopi pot seller and setting camp. The album paper is chipping and the album is missing a metal stud on the bottom that holds the album together.
