VINTAGE MEISSEN CREAMER & COVERED SUGAR BOWL w/COBALT & GILT       (early 20th century)
Beautiful cobalt blue & gilt design on white porcelain.  Crossed swords mark on the bottom of each piece.  See photos for details.  The creamer measures 6" across at the handle.  Base measures 2-3/4" in diameter.  It stands 5-3/4" tall.  The sugar bowl measures 7-1/4" across at the handles.  Base measures 3-1/4" in diameter.  It stands 5-1/4" tall with the lid & 3-1/2" tall without the lid.  Total weight is 2 pounds 2.7 ounces.  Good
vintage condition overall.  Slight gold loss on the handle of the creamer.  There are 2 small chips on the creamer, one at the base & one at the rim (photos 6 & 7).  Still a very nice set of vintage Meissen
