VINTAGE FIRST QUALITY MEISSEN FIGURINE - YOUNG MAN / BOY W/ KNIFE GRAPES BASKET

Description

Up for sale is a cute first quality Meissen / Royal Porcelain Manufactory fine porcelain figurine.
The figure depicts a boy holding a knife while sitting next to a basket of plump grapes.
The piece stands 4 1/2" tall.
It is marked under glaze with blue crossed swords.
There is also stamped 132 and 14 inscribed in the bottom.
We have looked the piece over and find it is in very nice condition with just some minor issues. There has not been any major breaks and no repairs to the piece.
It has wonderful decoration with no signs of color loss.
On close inspection we find a small chip on the second toe, an area of loss to the basket strap on the back side, three leaf chips on the overhang of the basket, one leaf chip on the bunch he is holding, and lastly there is a chip on the back of the sleeve of his raised arm.
