This vintage Royal Dux porcelain bust is of a young girl on the verge of womanhood. The exceptionally detailed cream color figure is designed with mesmerizing eyes, a mischievous smile & is adorned with symbolic oversize blooms on her chest & hair, preparing her for the changes soon to be. This artist may be unknown, but his talent is definitely visible. One should take note of the coquettish tilt of her head, the lush lace accents on her blouse & the detailed ribbon that holds & highlights her hair. This wonderful work of art is stamped on the base with the early 1900's pink triangular mark "Bohemia Royal Dux" w/ "617" in a rectangle above.
