Royal Dux lge art nouveau centerpiece compote figurine - young women

Description

This is a beautiful Royal Dux very large art nouveau porcelain centerpiece or compote.  It has a shell design atop a branched center stem and two young women adorn the top and base.  The centerpiece is very detailed and extremely high quality porcelain.  Delicate designs with an overall pleasing look.  We estimate the age of the piece to be from about 1910.  The young women are in flowing dresses and have lily pads as adornment; one is seated atop the shell and the other stands on the base.   The colors are natural earth colors of green, tan, and beige.  The inside of the shell is a white color. It is marked on the bottom with a pink triangle and the letter E.  It also has an imprinted mold number 1517.
The centerpiece is 21" tall and 17 1/2" wide
Great vintage condition - very clean with no nicks or chips or repairs.  Please note there are a few small areas that have a rough or grit feel to a finger touch (cannot be seen).  Please see photos
