This is a Brand new  Immersion Thermocouple # TL2862-3-1 for Williams F112 Engine Tester.
This is a rather rare and expensive military part that had been placed in our lap; a thermocouple that checks for fuel and oxygen temperatures in one of the more rare and more capable US  turbofan engines, the Williams F112-WR-100. From the connector, it appears to be a K-type. It's constructed of a very rigid alloy of some sort, and has two additional tubes of varying diameters emanating from it, to provide a function or measurement of unknown value.
