    Description

This sale is for a beautiful polychromed enameled Meissen Figurine featuring a Boy Cherub holding a basket of flowers in one hand and a single flower in the other hand.  This piece is from the 18th Century.  This piece is marked with the incised Number A64 and the printed Number 79.  It has Meissen's Crossed Sword Mark.
This piece has no chips, cracks, hairlines or repairs but it does have one or two missing flowers on the top edge of the basket of flowers and possibly a missing flower in the basket.    This piece was from the Ker Arvor Mansion in Newport, Rhode Island which was recently sold for over seven million dollars.   The Mansion's furnishings were European and of museum quality.
Please be advised that the items I love and sell are vintage and therefore have had a previous history where the items were used.  I will explain all the defects that I see, but I may miss a minor defect.
