  • Condition: Mackay MSR 6504 Radiotelex Modem. From the estate of a engineer whom spent part of his working life as a merchant marine. He was an electronics hobbyist whom had a broad range of electrical interests. This was found still sealed in his shrink wrap. It has seen use previously, and during me moving it around the internal corroded nicad battery came loose from its location on the board. It was broken open and showed corrosion so it will not be included. Looks to have not done much to the board beneath it. Several sticky notes inside discussing various repairs from the past, likely from the original owner, he did quite a bit of tinkering with his various radio communications equipment. Case outer and face plate show some scuffs soiling scratches and signs of previous usage. Untested as is. See photos for further condition details.
