Higi Tiki hand carved mahogany rolling box tray frankoma war god mug zippo.
I carved this in 2004 out of a single block of mahogany wood with hand gouges only, spent 2 months carving this heavy block of wood. I based it on the infamous frankoma war god mug I could never afford. Box wieghs 2 1/2 pounds, its rock solid and hefty. Measures 81/2 × 8 1/2 × 4 1/4 inches. Fits a zippo lighter perfectely, carved to do so. Lighter included if no one else buys it, its listed elsewhere without bids for . Has been used for years as a rolling/stash box for legal herbs, has some residue inside. I can sand, carve or stain any part of it for the buyer to clean it up if you would like, though the patina looks great imo. This was my favorite of the dozens of tikis I carved years ago. Wasnt going to sell but need cash bad, got fired recentely. Might start carving again, been 15 years. Thanks for looking. Smaller walnut box also available in other auction.
