    Fantastic historical scarce (33,000 struck) Red River Indian Nickel DOLLAR, dated 1978.
    The Obverse of this Commemorative issue features Head of Chief Gordon Lathlin in traditional headdress, and the Lettering reads: 1933 - CHIEF GORDON LATHLIN - 1976
    The Reverse of the Token depicts Traditional design with Fort Garry gate at left, and the Lettering reads: WINNIPEG, CANADA 1978 / CURRENCY VALUE ONE DOLLAR - EXPIRES SEPT. 15, 1978
    CREE - RED RIVER INDIAN DOLLAR. The Engraver is  Jackson Beardy, and the Edge is reeded.
    10 of these tokens were minted with a dot next to the Fort Garry gate - anyone who could find one of these tokens would be eligible for a fabulous prize.
