  • Condition: This is a light but strong Falcon Bu Coo/SR restoration & repair 7'0" 1 piece M Casting Rod from Mike Iaconelli's 2020 season. It was professionally restored (by me). Both pieces are from the same Mike Iaconelli return rod. It comes together making a very balanced and functional rod. I tested it out with 3 days of fishing and it survived snags, many long casts, 2 Bass, and 2 fighting Pickerel. It is now ready and offered up for sale. It is best suited for big Trout, Bass, Pickerel, Walleye, and larger pan fish. Functionally it is fine. The cosmetics are very good. The wraps are all original. The joining site, near the tip, was done with double St Croix inner and outer graphite splints, and Epoxied. The rod stayed the intended 7'0" after the repair. Please note the smooth flex pattern. See the detailed photos of the rod and fish it caught. Note especially the joining site below the rod tip area.

    If this was a new Falcon Bu Coo medium BC rod, retail would be about 5.00 and a bargain at that (CHECK OUT WEBSITE).  It is very sensitive. Paired with a good line, you can feel a nibble or slight bump. It would be best paired with a high quality low profile baitcasting reel (Shimano). This is a fully functional rod that I personally guarantee for your first 60 days. If not happy with the rod, just send it back for a full refund of your winning bid plus the initial shipping (CAN NOT also cover the return shipping cost).
