Extremely Rare 1991 PELE Signed "Edson Arantes" Letter to Brooke Shields JSA COA
    Presented for sale is an
Edson Arantes do Nascimento - PELE
    Autographed Letter
    .
This is an extremely rare letter signed by Pele using his full name.
Not only rare in any form, but this is from one celebrity to another.
    Pele wrote to
    Brooke Shields
in regard to their visit to Japan.
It’s short, but very personal about loving a picture, keeping it forever as a
    souvenir, and writing
“I miss you”, “Hope to see you soon”,
    and
    “A big kiss”.
Signed in blue ballpoint pen  -  great autograph !!
The picture in which Pele writes about is
    NOT
    included.
It was not purchased with the letter, as we assume Brooke kept it.
    In research,
we found that Pele, Brook Shields and Soviet President Mikhail Goreachev were photographed
    together
at the World Children’s Festival in Tokyo, Japan.  This took place on
    April 18, 1991.
    The picture of them (
    shown in our listing)
was published by several media outlets
    the next day.
    Pele’s letter
is dated July 17, 1991  -  we’re almost certain he’s referring to this
    picture of them together.
