    Description

    Stunning platter - Meissen Hofservice, late 1800s.  White background with rare embossed scrolls and gold gilded rim.  Center depicts birds (peacocks, pheasant and more) in a natural setting.  Various insects / bugs and flowers surround the center scene.   Marked with blue crossed swords.  Please, look at the photos as they are part of the description.
    Measuring 18 1/2 inches (46.99 cm) in length, 13 1/2 inches (34.29 cm) tall and 1 inch (2.54 cm) in depth.
