    Description

    Offered for sale is an antique Meissen Blue Onion 8" Scalloped Edge Rimmed Soup Bowl Crossed Swords. The bowl is just under 1 1/2 " in height.  There is another very small blue mark that is difficult to read on the edge.  It appears to be a circle with a dot then a forward slash followed by two dots.  Again very difficult to see even with a magnifying glass.  I do not know the significance.  The crossed swords have a dot on the end of each handle and match up to the mark used by Meissen between 1815 to 1924.  The bowl is in excellent condition with no cracks, chips, or crazing.
