Description
Here is an exquisite 19th
century Moser portrait perfume bottle with stopper/dauber.
This wonderful perfume bottle has a rare portrait on enamel of a small child.
The all-over floral and leaf gilt work is absolutely incredible.
The perfume bottle has three parallel lines etched in the rim of the base, and is also marked with three parallel lines in the center of the underside.
The portrait of the child is on an applied or possibly cut enamel base and measures 2 1/8” high by
1 5/8” wide.
This 19
th
century perfume bottle is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks.
The stopper has an interesting cavity in it but I believe it came that way from the factory as it is smooth and doesn’t have any sharp edges (see close-up photo).
The bottle measures 10 ½” high by 2 5/8” wide.
