    Description

I purchased this TD in 2009. It was a daily driver in theDenver area. Prior owner sold it due to advancing age. I have completed a totalframe up restoration in 2011 and now offer it for sale due to my advancing age!
In the course of the restoration, it was totally stripped tobare metal down to the chassis, primed, block sanded and color sanded to a deepBritish Racing Green color with a base coat/clear coat process. There isabsolutely no rust and only minimal body filler for a few minor dents thatexisted. The only parts I have not personally inspected or rebuilt are theengine internals and the differential because they work perfectly.
I have replaced all brakes, brake lines, fuel lines, clutch, belts, rebuilt the carbs and just about everything else! I also converted theantiquated 4 speed gearbox to a modern Hi-Gear 5 speed for lower rpm’s atspeed. The car also sports a modern Mohave heater, rebuilt seats and interior(not like original bench but buckets), Dynamat soundproofing under all carpets, tunnel and boot, and a MGB anti-sway bar system that takes away the TD bodylean and makes it handle like an MGB. 4 original side curtains were restoredand are included. 4 new Verdenstein radial tires were fitted after restorationand show minimal wear. I also added working turn signals, new 7 blade fan,
Wood Moto Lita steering wheel and wind wings. Allgauges work except for the odometer. It shows about 30k but I have driven itonly a few thousand miles since restoration. Only 2 internal wooden pieces werereplaced as the others were in perfect shape. New marine plywood floorboardsand dash were installed. The car has a new Moss top, a half and a full tonneaucover included. A new chrome luggage rack was also installed (not shown above). The entire interior (door cards, panels, carpet, floor mats, etc.) was replacedwith new Moss parts as well.
So why is it for sale? I have had some major medical issuesin the past few years, and it is time for it to have a new owner that willrespect the marque. My asking price basically covers my initial purchase plusall the improvements listed above. I sell this car, as most folks do, “as is”with no implied or direct warranties. I can only say it starts on first clickand runs like a champ! All invoices for parts, and full maintenance records,Work Shop Manual, original paperwork are included for proof of purchase.
